Fifteenth Amendment Lithograph

The 15th Amendment to the US Constitution granted African American men the right to vote throughout the country. In Indiana, state legislature banned blacks from voting in 1851. Bethel AME, like many other African American groups, fought back against their disenfranchisement. The 15th Amendment repeal Indiana's voting law.
