Memorial Park

Memorial Park was built in 2010 and is dedicated to the eight individuals who lost their lives during the tornado. There is a small memorial listing the names of the deceased, as well as a drinking fountain that once stood in front of the original courthouse building. At the heart of the memorial is an unmoving clock (not pictured) with the hands permanently marking 5:17pm, the time when the tornado struck the town.
