The magnificent three-story Union Station Depot stood at the intersection of 9th and Spruce Street. From its opening in 1892, the Romanesque design and castle-like tower enchanted visitors from all around. Many celebrities and influential politicians traveled through Union Station, bringing much attention and notoriety to the city.
