Ehrmann Manufacturing Company

The building at 929 Wabash Avenue was first the home of Ehrmann Manufacturing Co. specializing in workman’s clothing. The business owned by the family of Terre Haute poet Max Ehrmann opened in 1886 and remained in business until 1940. From 1970 to 2012 it was operated as Glidden Furniture. Now this historic building is home to the Vigo County Historical Museum.
