This All Purpose Survival Cracker tin, from Memorial Auditorium, is a remnant of the Cold War, a time from the 1950s to the mid-1960s when Americans constructed and prepared their own fallout shelters in the event of a nuclear war. The program ended in 1964 and produced 20 billion crackers.
