Of the companies that used the old glass works site, the longest owner was Cuneo Press. The property was used by GE during WWII to make electric motors, then was purchased by the printing press Cuneo in 1949. Cuneo produced national magazines such as Good Housekeeping, Boy’s Life, Popular Mechanics, and Cosmopolitan, among others, until closing in 1979.
